  • MORE COMPACT

    The new engine is more streamlined and more compact than other engines in the same class. The design of the Honda GCV200 also features the CycloFlow design, which strengthens turbulence in the cylinder and provides more stable combustion. The result is greater resistance to lower quality fuel and ease of starting, along with a smoother idle.

    LOW MAINTENANCE

    The design of the new Honda GCV200 is smart, simple and sophisticated, incorporating new features that serve to reduce maintenance time while improving serviceability for the redesigned Honda HRX mower models. GCV200 engine change points that enhance the HRX user experience include a larger fuel tank filler (a fuel spout with a 60 percent larger circumference than the GCV190 engine) for quicker and easier fill-ups with fewer spills. A longer, more extended oil fill tube for more convenience when adding and draining oil; a more easily-accessible, tool-less air filter that protects the engine from yard debris and dirty conditions; more direct access to spark plugs for quicker changes and a carburettor with a simpler and more rugged stud bolt design.

    This means the HRX217 will run powerfully and quietly, with minimal fuel consumption – good for you and good for the environment.

    HYRDROSTATIC CRUISE CONTROL

    Handy if you’re pushing for long hours, the HRX217HYU is fully Self-Propelled by Hydrostatic Cruise Control. This represents simple, precise speed control that’s fully adjustable from 0-6 kp/h. You’ll save your back, shoulders and arms by letting the mower do the work for you!

    MICRO CUT SYSTEM

    Also featured on the HRX217 is Honda’s exclusive twin blade MicroCut® System, which uses four cutting surfaces instead of two. The results are evident in the ultra fine clippings and superior mulching that you’ll get.

    Because the clippings are finer than on a regular mower, you’ll be able to mow up to 30% further before you have to empty the catcher bag. Again, this is designed with you, the user, in mind. The perfect cut has never been easier.
